Has anyone else experienced this extreme nerve pain in their bum before? It’s very specific and I imagine only those who have had their colon removed/ been left with a rectal stump will relate…. But maybe others who have had gastro surgeries too? This nerve pain is AGONISING and I had it in the middle of the night again for a good 30 minutes last night. It was v scary because the last time this happened I ended up having a perforation?&?!? I’m not having an ulcerative colitis flare at all, so the pain is the result of something else?
