you just taught me something I have 2 boys and another on the way. I always told then they weren't hungry just bored and recently I started coloring with them etc at home and reading more often and I noticed they weren't hungry they just wanted to play with mommy.

Just another perspective— the things I would do to hear my 4 year old talk and ask her questions. She’s profoundly autistic. Ask your baby all the questions for the mamas that can’t. 🩷 you’re doing a great job 🩷

My boredom game of choice was to ask my mommy “why?” After every single question she would answer during my rapid fire 🤭 I know I must’ve driven my poor girl crazy back then ( I miss her🥹).

This is why after being an older sister to triplets & taking care of them since the age of 8 I will not be having children. Bc this would piss me off so much even though I understand children need connection. It as a mother it doesn’t matter how you feel your children come first & i cannot afford to do that in my life anymore.

I don’t know if this is sharing too much but I struggled so much my first few years as a mom. I was 24 and alone. I will be 30 next month and I would give anything to go back and relive the smaller years with the patience I have now. I know it’s how we learn but part of me still worries I wasn’t the best mom I could have been. I have always admired the way you interact with your babies and I wish I had been more like you.
