nj pers 5 tier system will straighten itself out, most people in the last tier will get very little overall because they have to work more and much later. tpaf and pfrs are a bit different, but even pfrs went from 20 to 30 years, and healthcare costs and retirement benefit costs have risen to counter them. we will fair better than NY

What’s amazing is the MTA is an independent organization shared by 3 states, massive projects, insane revenue from tolls and they still can’t get it right. What’s that say?!

Public pensions have to go. 401k plans like the rest of us. Even fdr, basically a socialist, would not allow public workers to unionize.
